This project consisted of the development of a digital visual series for the final stage of a political campaign, focused on countdown communication in the days and hours leading up to election day. The objective was to translate complex public issues and civic urgency into clear, accessible, and emotionally engaging visual messages designed for rapid consumption on social media.
The series combined illustration, typography, and symbolic imagery to address key themes such as public security, education, healthcare, care work, and democratic participation. Rather than relying on photographic realism, the visuals used an illustrated language to simplify concepts, emphasize time pressure, and create a sense of collective momentum.
From a design perspective, the process required adapting messages across multiple time-based formats (days, hours, and real-time calls to action), maintaining visual coherence under high-frequency publishing, and balancing urgency with clarity, avoiding visual overload in highly saturated digital environments.
The countdown structure shaped both the narrative and the visual rhythm of the campaign, where color, scale, and composition were used to signal proximity to election day and to reinforce participation as a collective act. Each piece was designed to function independently while remaining part of a cohesive visual system.
This project reflects my interest in illustration as a tool for public communication, particularly in contexts where design must operate quickly, responsibly, and at scale, while still maintaining a strong visual identity and narrative intention.
